How to install and use CORTANA. Here is all you may need.

CORTANA is here for India with windows 8.1 update for Lumia phones. Folks as promised, I am here to share how Cortana can be enabled for Lumia phones though officially it's not launched in India. I can understand the excitement so without wasting any more time getting down to business. Here are few simple steps you need to do before you can use Cortana.

1. Go to your Lumia phone settings, then click on Region. In Country menu, select United States, and leave Regional Format at Match phone language. Now restart your phone. (refer screenshots attached for better understanding)

2. After the phones get restarted again go to Settings, tap on Language. Select English (United States) as language and make it default. Reboot your phone again.

3. After the reboot, press the capacitive search key that is adjacent to windows phone home button. This should start setup of Cortana. Set up your phone and start using the Siri's equivalent of Microsoft's CORTANA.

I have followed the above process to set up Cortana in my Lumia 625 and it's working fine. The best part is it catches Indian accent very well. If you are Lumia phone users don't wait now and set up Cortana immediately.
